designboom mart returned for its second appearance in Canada at IDS14. The designboom mart is widely recognized as the first-ever design bazaar. The Toronto designboom mart was an unprecedented opportunity to meet young avant-garde, emerging designers from around the world. Twenty local and international design talents displayed over 200 objects, from household items, jewellery and accessories to small furniture items and lighting objects. Visitors had the chance to purchase unique items for an affordable price, directly from the designers themselves. designboom mart Toronto took place on the IDS show floor.
Participants in this section included; Coeurdelion Textiles, Concept Shop, Demae Jewellery, Fairy Tairyn, Fidoodle, Firn, Good Everyday Goods, Heyday Design, Klampwave, Lookie Lous, Miriam Grenville, NM Design, NOA Design, Object Interface, Panoplie, Sandrine Giraud, Smitten Kitten and Tirmah Interiors.

Design Collective is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary design studio that continues to push the limitations of visual communications. A brainchild of graphic designers Annie Chou and Robert Joel Cortez, the duo has continued to provide innovative design solutions through design thinking and valuable collaboration. With their clients ranging from the consumer-good industry to not-for-profit organizations, Arc & Co.
