The Bouroullec Brothers for AXOR.
Characterized by their evocation of imagination and a creative approach, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are among the most popular creative minds of the 21st century. The brothers were born in Brittany, France and have been working together since the mid-1990’s. Their breakthrough came in 1997 when they showcased a modular kitchen at the “Salon du Meuble” trade fair in Paris and were discovered by Giulio Cappellini, the grand master of Italian design, who gave them their first industrial project. Since then, the brothers have shown a real versatility in their vision by designing furniture, upholstery, textiles and have gone on to design for numerous manufacturers, namely Vitra, Kvadrat, Magis, Kartell, Established and Sons, Ligne Rose, Alessi, Issey Miyake, Cappellini, Mattiazzi and more recently Flos and Mutina.
Their latest collaboration is with Axor, the designer brand of Hansgrohe, where the brothers’ design brief was to create solutions for a large variety of situations, spaces and habitats. The Axor Bouroullec bathroom collection consists of around 40 elements and allows the users freedom and flexibility to customize their bathroom configurations to their individual needs. The collection is so sophisticated yet understated that its individual products can even be incorporated into existing bathroom and style worlds.
