Pecha Kucha

For three years running, Pecha Kucha caps off IDS Trade Day with a diverse roster of presenters from the fields of fashion, design, media and the arts.

Derived from a Japanese term for the sound of conversation ("chit-chat”), a Pecha Kucha is an exciting, fast-paced presentation format. Presenters have a brief 6 minutes and 40 seconds to showcase their projects, ideas and creative design concepts as inspired by the theme “GOOD IDEAS”. Pecha Kucha Night started in Japan in 2003 and now occurs in over 230 locations globally. Pecha Kucha Toronto was the first in Canada.
